  Wow, So pricey. Nearly $200 for mani, pedi & eyebrows. My manicure is good, but not $75 good. Also, they up charge for shaping…. Don’t nails have to be shaped regardless? Pedicure is average, nothing crazy. Eyebrows… where do I even start. I say waiting for the eyebrow lady for 25min after my mani & pedi. She walks in and doesn’t look at my brows, ask me how I want them, and doesn’t do a prep of my skin or cleaning, just straight to the wax…hot hot hot wax. Not only was she double or triple dipping in the wax pot (I don’t think a popsicle stick every got changed), but there was absolutely no cleansing of my skin, so not only is my skin not clean and exposed to possible infection, but now whoever goes after me is getting my makeup residue from a used stick being dipped multiple times. Ewww. Also, I am super sensitive to wax and aftercare oils. I wasn’t even asked if I had any issues with oils or products. I’m allergic to tea tree & argan oil. In addition, the waxing was so rough. The re was no tension put to soften the “rip” so my brows were very red. In addition, there was no focus on my shape, it was just a slathering of wax- 1 on the bottom, 1 on the top, and 1 in the middle. No precision or focus on where the wax was going or what hairs it was pulling. A total of 5 strips and that was good. Mind you my brows are bad, but they aren’t something get done often. They needed some cleaning up today. I also had to request she brush them up and trim them, had I not, she wouldn’t have done it. Still not much of a trim, it was a very reluctant “shut up and let me go somewhere else” trim. I still have hairs but didn’t want to “bother” her with requests as she said they were “super busy” and made it known that I was interrupting her making more money elsewhere. I can go to an actual eyebrow place and have better service for the same price. Overall, my nails are fine, but not $130 fine. I can go somewhere else for a better price. Eyebrows for $25…. nah not there.

  Don't waste your $$ on this salon. Less than two weeks since me & my mom got (upgraded not basic) pedicures and there's already major discoloration (this is gel), chip on her big toe, & her poor cuticles look awful. When we called to ask if they would fix it considering we spent over $250 there, the manager said they can only guarantee 10 days and will only correct it if we pay more money…SCAM. Terrible quality and I don't recommend.

  First time here today, and we were greeted as soon as we entered. They were very transparent & honest about the wait time, rather than “just have a seat”. Once it was time for us to come back, as soon as we walked in, they knew exactly why we were there and sat us down in the pedi chairs. Super friendly, clean, truly the best pedicure I’ve had in a long time. To begin I was offered a drink of my choice & a warm neck pillow. The nail tech also showed us a little timer she was following so assure us, we were getting what we would be paying for. 🥹 Our pedi included a 12 min massage and they had a timer there to show us once it began. Super happy with my pedicure all in all!!! Outside of that; this place is beyond beautiful. You truly feel like royalty here. Will be coming back!

  Pros: they always have availability and the atmosphere is nice. They have lots of different packages to choose from. Some of the staff are great! Mina has done excellent work for me a few times. Cons: I'm not sure that all the supplies are clean. Each person has their little tool box and they just take things like the foot file and the pointy metal clippers out of a dubiously labeled plastic box that says "clean" and then put them right back in the "clean" box when they're done. Some of the staff just aren't as good. Multiple times I've gotten pedicures and they've been too aggressive with getting the ingrown. The last builder gel fill i got the gentleman was too fast and aggressive with the dremmel. He nicked me in one place and then when I took the nails off, there was a big indent where he filed in the back. I told him my nails were thin and to be careful but because of the language barrier he thought that I wanted the gel thin despite trying to explain multiple times to be careful. Since they run a big shop you don't get to pick who you get on the weekend so it's a gamble going here and it'simpossible to think that 100% of their team of 30+ people working at any time will all be top quality. So it could be great, could be sort of dangerous. If you need your nails done and you have limited availability, this is one of your better options.

  It took me a while to want to write this review but I want to share the unfortunate experience I had at Milano a week ago. First Id like to say that I usually go to Lakewood Milano and they are actually amazing but I moved and that is why I tried this location. I saw Claudia as she seems to have so many good reviews! This was my second visit with her where I got a fill on french tips i previously had. While my nails were the shape I wanted, I felt the design was done lazy and this honestly wouldn’t have been a big deal to me but she decided to charge $25 for the design alone! Before this, I told her what was most important to me was repairing my nails and their cuticles. It seemed like she didn’t really take that statement in. Later she asked if I would like to cut my cuticles and I asked if they needed it. She responded it would be an extra charge. I reminded her that my goal was to repair my nails and the charge wouldn’t be a big deal - if she felt like they needed it I trusted her. This is where I wish I had a before picture but I only have the after I am sharing. She said she’d do the cuticle cut if I didn’t care about the cost and proceeded to do it. It hurt a little but what hurt more is the whopping $90 charge for my nails at the end. I have never spent that much for nails alone at Milano and I have had some complex designs done, which i’d like to add were executed much better than this one. I didn’t not have any other special services, no sugar scrubs, or add ons. This was a fill that previously had a french tip. It took her but 30-45 minutes total. I don’t think she cared about what she was doing, just about getting paid. With how my fingers look now, I think I learned I didn’t not need that cuticle cut. Maybe it was a bad day for her, maybe i should have been more careful with saying the cost wasn’t a big deal, but I am an expecting mother and for this cost I would have definitely gotten myself something nicer.
