  I just had an encounter with the tattooed woman with long black hair, and a nose ring. She was working on Saturday 08.29.2026. I didn’t see a name tag hence why the physical description. She didn’t greet me, she was walking around by herself and never once asked me if needed help. The worst part came during checkout. I placed my item on the counter and she didn’t say hi and honestly she seemed very arrogant and acted as though I was an inconvenience. She didn’t smile once. This woman really needs to brush up on her customer service skills or maybe consider a job that’s not client-facing. She might have been having a bad day, but her attitude was enough to make me feel bad about being there.

  I had such a wonderful experience at this Sephora today. I stopped in to make a return and do a little shopping, and I had my 2.5-year-old daughter with me. I know this isn’t exactly a place designed for toddlers, so I was hoping to just get in and out fairly quickly, but I really wanted to recognize how incredibly kind and welcoming every employee was to us. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, even with my toddler who was very interested in sampling a few products herself! No one ever made me feel like we were a bother or that I needed to rush. As a mom just trying to get an errand done with a toddler in tow, that kindness goes such a long way. Thank you to the team on Sunday morning for making what could have been a slightly stressful errand such an easy and pleasant experience!

  I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Sephora today, thanks to Carissa! At 65, I wanted to update my makeup and find products and colors that would work beautifully with my skin now. Her knowledge of products, color, application, and mature skin was unlike anyone I’ve ever worked with at Sephora or any other makeup counter. My skin actually looks dewy and luminous, not dry and cakey anymore! She selected exactly the right products and shades for me and took the time to explain why they worked and how to use them. I never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything. Carissa is truly talented and an incredible asset to Sephora.

  I so badly want to leave 5 stars for this location since I live close and frequent it the most, but as other have stated, I haven’t had the best customer service. It’s been a 50/50 shot of the staff either being really friendly and helpful, or ‘fake nice’ and seemingly annoyed by me shopping there or asking for an opinion. That said! This is the second time I’ve had an incredible encounter with Karissa. I believe she works Sundays, but wow does she know her stuff. She’s turned me onto so many new products in just two separate visits. She does her homework, is extremely knowledgeable about brands, can color match like no one’s business, and has some serious moral standards behind the brands that she promotes. I feel like I should pay her a consultation fee after talking to her for so long. Just today, I showed her a color swatch of something I liked on my wrist, and asked her for something similar. With purpose and intent, she walks me clear across the store, reaches on the bottom shelf, and bullseye. Nails the color. This woman is a treasure and this location is so lucky to have her. She’s welcoming and the most helpful! Bonus points because she also turned me onto my new favorite perfume. Thanks Karissa!
