  Zero stars if I could!!! I frequent this location often, but after my experience today, I will not be returning. From the moment I walked in, I was met with rude behavior from an employee named AMBER A. When I placed my return items on the counter, she rolled her eyes and said, “You’re returning all this?” Her tone and attitude were immediately unprofessional and unwelcoming. Later, I went back to ask about a specific item listed on my receipt, and instead of simply helping me, she responded sarcastically with, “It’s the first one on the list,” in a way that felt intentionally condescending. There was no reason to speak to a customer that way. What made the situation worse was her overall demeanor throughout the interaction. If someone has no patience or interest in helping people, customer service may not be the right role for them. When I addressed her attitude and asked for her name, she refused to tell me directly and said, “It’s on the receipt.” After asking multiple times, she finally told me her name was “Chloe,” but when I checked the receipt, her actual name was Amber. LYING to customers and treating them disrespectfully is unacceptable. I have friends who work at MAC and I’ve shopped here many times without issue, which made this experience especially disappointing. I truly expected much better professionalism and customer service.

  I am writing to formally express my disappointment with MAC Cosmetics and to make it clear that my long-standing relationship with the brand has come to an end. I have been a loyal MAC customer since I was 17 years old. For decades, MAC was not just a makeup brand to me — it was the brand I trusted, returned to, and supported exclusively. This past Christmas, my husband purchased a MAC mascara for me as a gift. When I attempted to return or exchange it, I was informed that I was outside the 30-day return window. Despite the fact that this was a gift, no exchange was permitted. I want to be clear: the in-store staff was polite and professional. I understand they were following company policy. My frustration is not with them — it is with the policy itself and what it signals about how MAC values long-term customer loyalty. A rigid policy that offers no flexibility for gift exchanges communicates that history, loyalty, and lifetime value are irrelevant. That message matters. As a result, I have made the decision to permanently stop shopping with and wearing MAC Cosmetics. I am not seeking compensation, exceptions, or follow-up. I simply want leadership to understand that an exclusive, decades-long relationship has been lost over a policy that left no room for reason or respect for the customer. I do not wish the brand ill — but I no longer wish it well, either. This letter is not written in anger, but in finality. Thank you for your time. Jennifer

  I haven’t steeped into a Mac in years because of the horrible customer service I always receive but I decided to give this one a chance. My experience was excellent! I was acknowledged, color Matched and rang up in a matter of minutes. This will be the only location I will go to.
