  If you are able to somehow verify the batch number of your product before purchasing to make sure it is not expired, I would recommend doing so. I bought a perfume that started malfunctioning within 1.5 months or purchase and when I reached out to the manufacturer, they let me know that the product had expired it's shelf life and was manufactured 3 years prior. I'd expect that from a discount store, but not from an authorized resaler. I don't know if I like the idea of using old product on my skin. The Sephora store and corporate did not want to budge on their 30 day return/exchange policy and the manufacturer said it is up to the store since they let the product sit for so long.
