    I had my first bad experience at Sephora today. The lady at checkout held up the line so she could step away from the counter and talk her friends. Then when she came back to checkout, I asked to return an item I had only tried twice. I explained to her that something was not right with the item, that it had smelt bad and maybe was part of a bad batch. She then accused me of lying and said that I used all of the product and was trying to get it for free. After arguing with me, she said she will do me a “favor” and go against policy to return the item. When I explained again that something was wrong with the item, she cut me off, telling me she is doing me a courtesy. Will not be returning to this location.

    The staff hovers over customers way too much. If I need help, I’ll ask. I don’t need to be checked on twenty times while I shop. My boyfriend and I genuinely felt judged and watched the entire time, like the staff had already decided we were going to steal based on how we look. I spend way too much money at Sephora to feel uncomfortable the second I walk in. Tattoos and different hair don’t make someone suspicious. The constant hovering was excessive, awkward, and honestly insulting. Maybe focus more on customer service and less on profiling people. Genuinely disappointed. 🙄❣️

    I used to shop here but I won’t support any business that stocks and sells brands like Huda Beauty, especially without addressing the repeated controversies. Sephora lacks morals, ethics, and any respect to hear customer concerns. My business will no longer be going to this store.

    One of the beauty associates there was really rude. Didn’t help out when I asked for their suggestions for a primer. I had really great experience at other locations except here

    I visited this location today and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. From the moment I began browsing, I felt like I was being closely followed around the store by employees. While I understand that loss prevention is part of retail, the way it was handled made me feel singled out and constantly monitored rather than welcomed as a customer. Instead of feeling supported or assisted, I felt harassed. It created such an uncomfortable environment that I ultimately decided not to purchase anything. Shopping for beauty products should feel enjoyable and relaxed — not tense or suspicious. I would much rather spend my money at businesses that don’t make customers feel like they’re automatically assumed to be doing something wrong. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on creating a more inclusive and welcoming experience for everyone.
