What was more exciting was not having a budget and anxious for some retail therapy and self care for the day. From the moment I walked in, no one greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. I knew what products I needed but was unsure about my current shade. I assumed all of the reps were busy so I continued browsing and tried to find a shade myself. 15 minutes pass and I’m looking for help, each rep walks past me. No one tries to help. However; I constantly see them greeting others and helping other women who come in. With that being said, I put all my products back, went to ULTA and happily spent my money there and received the help I needed. I will be canceling my store credit card at Sephora.

At this location, I was asked “Can I help you?” and “still doing okay?” almost 15 times during my short shopping trip. I’m not sure about the reasoning behind this behavior, and I want to assume good intentions. Nonetheless, I felt very uncomfortable being followed and asked if I needed help so many times even after responding “No” each time.
