Jenette has curly hair and understands the cutting/styling process. She asked my opinion and listened to my concerns. Did a great job with coloring, cutting and styling my hair. Very happy with the result.
- LSLyn SouterMay 24, 20263.0I always enjoy getting a perm from Julie. It’s fun and she’s good. My disappointment this time was that she cut my hair prior to the perm without asking me what I wanted. I said I wanted 2-3 inches cut off the length, but then she did MAJOR layering that I did not request. She cut something like 6 inches off for the layers! I really don’t like the layers and in the past, I’ve always, if I’ve requested layers, requested long layers. I can barely pull my hair up and it’s too short for using hot rollers. I look like a poodle if I use hot rollers and, as a result, I cannot use hot rollers until this all grows out AT LEAST an inch, and likely more. I have to pull my hair up if I don’t use the hot rollers because if I just let it curl, and leave it down, it’s too much “bush” for my face, especially over my ears. It looks cute when it’s wet, but when it dries, it’s just too much! PLEASE, prior to cutting someone’s hair, ask what they want. Please don’t assume you know!
