  I walked in a Saturday but since my daughter and I wanted a needle piece versus a device piece we got an appointment on Sunday. Nurse made my daughter feel comfortable and had great attention to detail. I appreciate the glove changes between each wipe down and handling of the sterile items to eliminate cross contamination :) 2 weeks later, piercings are healing wonderfully, no issues, no pain. Would return for future piercings.

  We are Rowan girls through and through. My daughter had her ears pierced as a baby, but after one of her earrings got caught on her pillow as a toddler and tore out, she swore she would never get her ears pierced again. Fast forward to age 11, she walked into Rowan, fell in love with the adorable space, and decided not only to get her ears re-pierced, but to get her doubles too. Apparently, like her mama, we don’t do just one piercing. The nurses are amazing, and the staff is always so warm and friendly. They make the entire experience feel fun, safe, and special! After spending an unexpected week in the hospital and having to remove all of my jewelry for multiple MRIs, I was so grateful for Rowan’s incredible policy. If you need to remove your jewelry within 30 days of your piercing, they’ll reinsert it or re-pierce if needed at no extra charge. Then getting discharged from the hospital the day before Mother’s Day, hubs gave me the best Mother’s Day surprise gifting me a hidden helix after such a tough week. It was the perfect way to brighten up the hardest week! We love you, Rowan!

  I had a Great time here over the weekend, I’ve been here before to grab a gift for my wife and she loved this place ever sense my mom and grandmother was in town and I took them to get some new earrings and they LOVEDDDDD IT as well the atmosphere, the vibe, the people all wonderful. The ladies there are Awesome Tiandra and Tylette helped my family with a “Stack” they call it lol and we ended leaving with a few pieces and new piercings for my family.

  I am kind of disappointed in my experience at Rowan. I booked online for an appointment for a helix and lobe piercing. On the website it let me book both in one appointment. As well, on the website it told me to arrive ten minutes later. I had to get a watch resized so I was at the mall a little early. I ended up arriving 15 minutes early instead of 10. Immediately as I walked in the person working the front desk was a tad bit rude. She dismissively told me that they wouldn’t be able to do my appointment until 12:00. That’s completely okay, but it was said to me like the website didn’t tell me to arrive ten minutes early. As well they were only able to do one of the piercings in the appointment time. Why did the website let me do it then? To be honest it seemed to me like they could have done both but I digress. I ended up getting my helix piercing and the piercer was very kind and it didn’t hurt at all. I am very happy with how my piercing turned out. My next issue came when they showed me what I was paying. They automatically put on their cleaning spray which was $20. I thought it was bold to assume that I was automatically buying it. I told her that I had a saline spray at home (I already have another helix piercing) and that I didn’t want that. She asks if it was from Rowan to which I said no and she says that the healing time will be longer. She then crosses out the healing time from 10 weeks to 18 months. In my opinion that’s bull. There’s no way that their cleaning spray is anything special. I think they are trying to get people that don’t know much about piercings to buy their overpriced product. As well, they never checked my ID. Although I am 18 and put it on the website it felt weird that they didn’t double check it. I don’t recommend Rowan and I think you would be better saving your money and going to a tattoo shop that actually knows what their doing. I think at Rowan you’re paying for a cute experience (not that the piercers are much better) and I felt that it didn’t deliver.
