- ASArchie StovallAug 8, 20262.0Went here about a month ago needing a cut and dye. I have been going to JCPenny’s salons for the past 5 years of my life, never been let down once. Except I was this last time. I wanted to dye a dark red and trim my hair into a wolfcut. Besides showing up on time and not being sat down for an hour, I did not get the services I asked for. My hair had brassy splotches along the red and it looked awful. My hair was also fried and I had to take off a majority of my hair to salvage it. Plus, the cut I asked for was nonexistent, I was only given a trim. I was only able to recently dye my hair to fix it due to the damage. I was also charged 25 extra on top of my services for olaplex put in my hair. Which- is not necessarily a problem if they had told me it would be an extra charge PRIOR to putting it in my hair. On top of things, when I scheduled this appointment I asked if there was anyway we’d be done by a certain time PRIOR to scheduling said appointment due to an upcoming job interview I had. I was told I would get out absolutely on time and did not. Maybe I just have bad luck, but this was my experience.

I was embarrassed just to walk from the salon to my car afterwards. Not sure how you get through cosmetology school not being able to deal with different styles of hair.
