  I’m a little late with my review but remembered when I went to make an appointment and was careful to avoid a particular stylist (LG). Back in January, I went in between braids to have my hair washed and trimmed (very normal). This time I wanted some color because I wanted to give my hair a break for a few weeks. I asked for a specific color. Once she got done, it was not the color I asked for and she stated that she went with a lighter color as if she thought (in so many words) the color I selected was too bold. I showed her pictures of where I had the color several times before and explained that I’m not new to coloring my natural hair. If she had a concern, she should have said that so that I could calm her concerns vs her making a decision for the customer that couldn’t be undone. When she realized I wasn’t happy, she says “it’s going lighten when it’s styled. Well, that wasn’t the case. She even talked about how healthy my hair was but never ever make a decision on the behalf of a client with them sitting there. If you MUST maybe say something, then have a conversation. I normally use Ashiya and she’s been great but she had no availability. Lesson learned and I will stick with who I know from now on. I’ve never experienced this in my decades of having my hair done and it really bothered me that this happened and I’ve shy’d away from using them but will stick with the stylist I have had no issues with.

  I was nervous about coming here again due to my natural hair and my past disappointment with salons but I gave them a shot and Ms. Linda was amazing. She worked miracles on my hair literally. She was really fast, professional, you could tell she had tons of experience by the way she got everyone out in a timely manner and they all left happy. I dont know why I am just finding out about this stylist but where has she been all my past experiences. I would much rather had given her the money I wasted on other stylist over the years. She's good guys and I mean I watched her style many different textures from white hair to black. Everyone left happy. That's the only person I will ask for when I go back. I dont mind spending money with someone who knows hair and she's good.
