- RRReyonaMay 3, 20261.0I am a regular customer at Lush, and I’ve never had an experience like I did today. My experience there is normally amazing, and I often recommend the store to my friends. I hadn’t been in about a month, which made this even more shocking. I was shopping with my cousin and we were followed around the store and repeatedly stared at. A woman in a gray jacket who I talked to when we first came in was very sweet, and the employee in the red shirt and glasses that stood by the bath bombs that we had to ask for help from was also kind and professional and did not stare at us. However, everyone else in the store did, while other customers were being helped and engaged with. We had to go out of our way to ask for assistance. One employee at the register also watched us the entire time we were in the store. This felt like we were being racially profiled, which is especially shocking given what Lush stands for. I never thought in a million years I would experience something like this at this store. It was extremely uncomfortable, and I no longer feel comfortable returning to this location. I hope this is taken seriously so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.
- ZTZion TesfayeMay 3, 20261.0I recently just visited lush as a frequent customer to look and smell some scents and products and when entering the store I was welcomed kindly by one of the workers and then as I proceeded to smell and test products I was followed around by multiple workers that never bothered to offer any assistance or help. They continued to follow me and my cousin through the store like we were trying to steal something. I even asked to leave my products behind the register and they still continued to follow us around. This is completely unacceptable especially since I spend so much time and money at this store and I have never experienced any service like this before.

I recently went through a lengthy health crisis, and they've been there for me every step of the way from diagnosis to celebrating recovery milestones, recommending products and cheering me on. I've been a loyal Lush customer since the mid 2000s, and I'm so grateful to finally live nearby (especially this store, which has a terrific and expansive range of products). I so appreciate that the company aligns with my values, and I feel supported and welcome -- truly part of a community -- when I visit my local store.
