  We managed to find a place for haircuts the day before school started. Alice dod a 5star job on my son's hair and didn't mind working from the few constraints I gave her. She cut my hair as well, men's shoulder length, and I'm very happy with the result. I wanted to get damaged ends removed. Despite her only cutting half to 3/4" all tangles are gone. When we paid I was slightly shocked by the great value we got. I most recently got my hair cut in Tampa by the river walk, and prior to that in Coconut Grove. I honestly think Alice did better than Tampa and as good as Coconut Grove. I spent far less in Alabama. I'll plan to return in a few months.

  I had been a client of Tonya’s, and my final experience was very disappointing. I was late to my appointment, and I apologized for it. Instead of addressing the situation professionally and respectfully, I felt publicly humiliated. A private, respectful conversation would have been much more appropriate than the way I was spoken to. I understand that businesses have policies regarding late arrivals, and I respect that. My concern is not with the policy itself, but with how I was treated. Kindness and professionalism matter, especially when handling difficult situations. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling embarrassed.

  I love this place. My first time there and wont go anywhere else. I booked a color cut and style with Erica. She was fabulous. Talked to me about what I wanted, my hair issues she was knowledgeable and sweet. The prices are great. I would definitely recommend Erica abd Pure Style

  I have to say, I am disappointed with my haircut by Sherra. She was very friendly, but she was too confident in knowing how to trim my hair. I have thick, wavy hair. And I just wanted a basic trim (1 inch off) with fresh layers. She cut about 3 inches off. It was choppy, not well-blended, and not layered. I kindly advocated for myself and said I didn’t want to lose anymore length, and she asked her coworker (I think her name was Tonya) to come and correct my haircut to the best of her ability. The coworker corrected it as best she could and gave Sherra some haircutting advice for my type of hair. I was also disappointed that Sherra did not have the proper tools to cut my hair and had to ask her coworker for tools. However, they did try to make things right by charging me a lower rate for the haircut. I just wish Sherra told me up front that she didn’t know how to cut my hair and would have handed me off to someone else who had more experience.
