- GBGene BirchMar 29, 20261.0I checked in online and the app said 25 minute wait no problem by the time I got there it said I was next. I went in and sat down. There was a lady sitting down trying to check in on the app. The hair styles came up to the register and called out Glenn. I said no you must mean Gene and she said no it’s Glenn I was about to show her my app with the appointment but she ignored me and turned her attention to the girl sitting there to help her instead. I was about to walk out then. When she was done I showed her my appointment and the she said oh it is Gene HaHaHa. Ok I understand that people make mistakes with names. The problem is that when I tried to correct her she ignored me and started talking to someone else she was very rude when it was her mistake. I still got a hair cut and will never ever go back to the Waxahachie Great Clips again. On the receipt it said her name was Birdie. Birdie that rudeness is why you received $0 for a tip.

This was my first and second time having her cut my hair, and both times she did an excellent job. She really listened to what I wanted and understood the type of fade and overall look I was going for—and delivered exactly that. She’s also great with beard and mustache trimming, which can be hard to get just right, but she nailed it. On top of that, she has a great smile and is very friendly and approachable, which made the whole experience even better. The entire staff was welcoming and greeted me as soon as I walked in, creating a positive atmosphere right from the start. Overall, I highly recommend this location, especially if you can book with Birdie!

While skeptical about the strip mall salon stereotype. To my absolutely amazing delight, she took the time to listen to me, look at my inspo photos AND feel my hair run her hands through it. 2nd, the cut was on point, exactly what I wanted. I showed up feeling terrified/defeated and left happy and confident. Recommend 100%

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
