Part 2: She explained that the person booking the services was trying to accommodate my time and that the nail services should have taken place after the massage. She asked if I had time to stay so that they could fix my toenails, but at this point I had been there all day and needed to pick my children up from school. I opted to come back in a few days to have them fixed. I was very grateful for this and explained that I understand things like this can happen and I appreciated her offering to fix my nails. It truly was not a huge deal to me since the issue would get resolved. Upon checking out, I had to ask for a receipt which I thought was odd. Once I got out to my car, I noticed that I was charged $30 dollars to remove the shellac off my toes. $30!!! This was never disclosed to me when booking, when asking about my total charges, upon the removal, or at checkout when asking about my total. #1 I am not paying someone $30 for them to take less than 10 mins to file shellac off my toes with a nail file. I could have done that myself. #2 The removal is typically something that is included when receiving nail services as long as you are getting some type of color done. If I had gone in strictly for a shellac removal, of course I would have paid. This was not the case. When bringing this to the attention of the manager, she apologized yet again and stated that she would have a conversation with her staff to make sure this didn't happen again moving forward. I was also told I would receive a refund. Additionally, my nails looked great inside the spa (dim lighting), but once I got in the car, they didn't look their best. I decided to brush it off since my toenails would be getting fixed. After two days, my nails looked TERRIBLE. I called to cancel the appt to have my toenails redone. I told the receptionist to please thank the manager for offering to rectify the polish issue on my toes, but after seeing how crappy my finger nails turned out with chipping and wearing away so quickly, I will just go to usual nail salon and have my nails and toenails redone. To this day, I still have not received a refund. I have not received a call from the spa manager either. Nothing. Services in total (with tip) were $850+. If I could recommend anything, it's not to go here for nail services. The amount I paid is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. I would also recommend asking for a break down of your services and the prices before rendered so that you can catch any additional charges that were not mentioned to you when booking. As far as customer service, I feel like the manager genuinely cared until I realized that $30 had not been refunded nor did I receive a call back about how to turn my experience back into a positive one. For me, the refund is not the problem. The service recovery is. If you want returning customers who are willing to spend this kind of money, you make things right with them ---follow through on this. I will not be returning.

I wanted to write this honest review in hopes that it reaches the right person. This is not to bash or belittle this business, but to help with quality improvement. I just celebrated my 10 year wedding anniversary and my husband purchased a gift card to your spa so that I could enjoy a well deserved, relaxing day. After reading several positive reviews, I decided to move forward with the complete transformation package, but opted to add additional time to my massage. For those reviewing this, the transformation package includes a Himalayan stone massage, the hydrafacial classic, and the Woodhouse Signature luxury hand and foot retreat (both were done at the same time --I do not recommend; felt rushed). Upon calling to book, I was asked what my preferred day and time of arrival was, if I had any polish on my nails/toenails (to which I stated I had shellac on my toes and was told, "okay, no problem"), and that I would receive an intake form via email that I would need to complete and send back. I inquired if I would receive a notification regarding my scheduled appt. I was told that this would also be included in the email. Upon hanging up, I waited about 20 mins for the email to come through. I did not receive anything, so I called back explaining I had to received the email with a confirmation and intake form and wanted to check to see if the email was sent and if my email address was correct in the system. Whoever was checking into this stated my email had not been added to my account. This made me feel very uneasy as I was spending $700+ on services and something so simple had not been completed. I did have the young lady go over the services I planned to received and confirmation time before hanging up for peace of mind after explaining to her that this hiccup made me feel very uneasy. Shortly after our conversation, I did receive an email, but not an intake form. This email included an itinerary for the day and also explained since I was adding additional time to my massage, I would not receive a 5% discount for my package. ----I had no idea I would even get a discount as this was not disclosed to me when booking. I was given the option to keep the original package with a 5% discount or pay the full amount if I added additional time to my massage. Of course I opted to pay full price and add additional time to my massage as this was MUCH needed. Fast forward to the day of arrival. I was the first to arrive at the spa. Very nice and clean on arrival. The dressing area was well stocked with amenities to use if needed. The drink menu and drinks were great. I found the waiting area to be relaxing. I was sent for my manicure and pedicure right before my massage. BIG MISTAKE. The massage was GREAT, but my toenails were ruined. I did mention before my massage that I had just come from getting them done and was concerned that they weren't dry. Before the massage started, my masseuse check them and said because they are gel, they dry quickly and should be fine. I felt comfortable proceeding knowing this. After my massage, I went to change into my clothes and that's when I noticed the issue. I did point this out when checking out. The manage was very apologetic and really wanted to make this right. ---See second post

The massage with Oscar was good but I would like you to put Jose' down on my card as I have had a GREAT massage last time by him. Miriam, awesome facial and would like you to put her on my card as my preference. I always enjoy my experience while at The Woodhouse and come frequently. All of the staff are very attentive and professional. I was presently surprised to be waited on upon arrival by Vanessa. It was a great pleasure to meet her in person. Thank you for today! Linda
