- KKKendra2 days ago1.0I came on November 22 at around 4:15 PM. After being a Sephora customer for a decade, I can say this is the worst customer service I've ever seen at a Sephora. The entire time I was here, no one asked me if I needed any help. One beauty advisor looked at me funny as I went to the fragrances, then suddenly "Asset Protection" aka loss prevention was following me everywhere I went and would conveniently do tasks like change the trash next to me. I asked her for help twice and she dismissively answered my questions then immediately tried to look busy and almost walk away each time. I watched her to see if I was imagining that she was profiling me, as there was also a group of white teenagers by the fragrances whom she could have been watching. I walked to and from the fragrance section three times just to give her the benefit of the doubt. Ultimately, I noticed she would only walk away every time I would walk away and she would return to the fragrances every time I did. So it wasn't the white teenagers she suspects of theft--it's me. I have 12,000 points on my account and thanks to my husband, I have a full time career and no bills to pay. I'm a paying customer. I literally only came in to see if they had a tester for Tom Ford Mandarino Di Amalfi and to compare Versace Eros EDP vs EDT vs Parfum. Nobody has ever made me feel like a thief in my life until I walked into First Colony Sephora. If you are not white, don't go here trying to excitedly look at fragrances unless you want to be profiled. By the way, in case the employees want proof I'm not lying about being a paying customer, go ask the Store Director Michelle at the Memorial City Mall location. She knows I shop for makeup way too often and have been doing so for a decade. 😂 This experience ruined my day and my image of this location. This place is trashy. If you are looking to have a good experience while shopping at Sephora, please go anywhere else but here. The Memorial City Mall location is my favorite, and the River Oaks location is a close second.
