My younger daughter (4) had Kimmie and she was great!! She was patient with her and so sweet! Then my oldest (7) had Gene and he was very professional and kind. I could see the work he put in to make sure everything looked good to his standard (which is probably higher than mine). As for my hair, I had Shelli and she was great! She was easy to talk with! I kind of gave her the freedom to choose what to do with my hair with very little input and she did great!! Definitely recommend especially if you can’t wait months for someone else to cut your hair!

- AJA JanJan 30, 20265.0It’s not often I read someone’s review where they rave about their barber or hairdresser but this is my chance to pay a HUGE compliment to my barber, Gene, at the Great Clips in Seguin. I stumbled across their location on Hwy 123 shortly after moving to town in early 2025. I desperately needed a haircut after a few weeks and frankly I didn’t expect much. As luck would have it, Gene was the next available stylist and he did a great job. Later that day my wife complimented me on the haircut; that did it, no one but Gene would cut my hair. Fast forward a few months and my wife needed a trim so she tried Gene too. She loved his styling and now swears by him too; she won’t let anyone else touch her hair. If you need a good barber/stylist for a very reason price, visit Great Clips in Hwy 123 in Seguin. Everyone on the staff is helpful & friendly.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
