I walked out with a crooked chin length cut. When I said it was to short the stylist stopped cutting my hair, took cape off and I was done. No type of finish or final look. Just run comb and her comment “your hair grows fast right?” My reply “no..chemotherapy won’t let it grow fast”. Now will have to find someone to fix it and will end up with even shorter cut…I look horrible in super short hair. I will never return to this location.

The stylist, Jennifer—who referred to herself as “Jenny from the block”—took my son. Yes, he was a little fidgety, but nothing out of the ordinary for a child. I reassured her that he would sit still, yet she kept pressing me with a rude, dismissive “and then?” as if I were wasting her time. She then said, “He won’t sit still,” followed by, “If I start, I’m not liable if I mess up,” which I understood—but instead of even trying to handle the situation professionally, she flat-out refused to cut his hair. Meanwhile, my husband was already in the chair getting his haircut, and I was waiting with my daughter to use the restroom. Jennifer told us, “You can use the one next door,” in a tone that made it very clear she didn’t want us there—completely ignoring the fact that my husband was still a paying customer in another stylist’s chair. To make matters worse, she then openly complained to her next client about children getting haircuts, questioning why parents even bring them if they “don’t sit still.” It was incredibly unprofessional and humiliating to be talked about like that within earshot. I have never felt so unwelcome or so embarrassed in my life. The attitude, the lack of basic respect, and the complete disregard for customer service were unacceptable. I will never return to this location.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
