- DVDavilyne VieraFeb 18, 20261.0We went in for a mid fade, the elderly African-American lady was disrespectful. My husband sat down and I usually try to stand as close as possible when he’s getting his haircuts so I can see what it looks like, But I was immediately yelled at to go sit down and I mean he yelled at like I was not asked nicely or anything I was just yelled at. I sat down and looked at my phone for less than a minute. When I glanced to back up he was almost completely bald. This looked nothing like a mid fade when I got up and asked about the haircut she then proceeded to yell at me that she knew what she was doing and how dare I question her technique. My exact words were “Mama that doesn’t look like the picture” she then began to yell at me some more about me, calling her mama, and that I could talk to her like an adult and that she wasn’t a child then proceeded to scream her name at me. To be fair, I didn’t know her name and I’ve called people mama before and I’ve never really had a problem. After her yelling at me, I told her that I had did nothing wrong and that we would be leaving at that point she then proceeded to try to stop us from leaving and said that she was going to finish the haircut kind of rather we liked it or not. I literally had to pull my husband from her hands and her chair to get us out the door. This is the most unprofessional hairstylist I’ve ever met in my entire life. If she couldn’t have done a mid fade, she should’ve just said that from the beginning and let one of our coworkers do it now we are at a completely different barbershop at the moment to try and attempt to fix the hair. I can 100% say with confidence we would never be back to great clips. They really should consider who they hire.
