  I had a very disappointing experience at the JCPenney hair salon. After an initial rescheduling issue where my calls and messages went unanswered, I finally secured an appointment. Upon arrival, I found that the stylist I had specifically booked was unavailable. The replacement stylist was not friendly .To make matters worse, she was a 'senior' stylist and they attempted to charge me more for the switch—despite the fact that the scheduling error was theirs. When I spoke to the manager, she showed a complete lack of accountability and professionalism, failing to resolve the issue or even acknowledge the booking mistake. I hope they improve their management and customer service for future clients. Btw I left WITHOUT a haircut.

  Very disappointed. I paid for highlights, full head. I have barely any noticeable highlights underneath and just one major big one on top. I hate it. And the lady told me my highlights were $305. No they were cheaper. But she charged me extra for 2 other things and didn’t tell me. I will not be back. For the amount of money I spent, I should be in love with my hair! I feel like she honestly might not even know what she was doing? She kept asking all the workers that were doing highlights questions and idk. Just didn’t make me feel good about that. Next time maybe she should actually dry my whole head instead of having me leave dripping wet and that way she could have actually seen what she did! And what she needed to do to fix!!!!

  Do yourself a favor and go see Kelsey in the salon!!! Not only are her skills and mindset immaculate, she’s just overall a wonderful human being. I’ve been going to her for years, and she’s seen me through some super life changing moments! From my career to becoming a mother, to bringing in my toddler as my plus one. Kelsey was soo patient, sweet, and kind to my daughter!!!! She is extremely talented when it comes to hair, I usually never have a picture. I trust my hair in her hands! Always!

  Booked an appt with Erin for my daughter. As we walked in, she just looked at us and continued working on the client's hair that was in the chair. We stood there for about 10-15mins. She never greeted us...just looked. Eventually a coworker of hers entered and she whispered to the coworker. That co-worker approached us and asked if we had an appt. I told her yes. She proceed to check and saw my info. She then tells me that Erin said she doesn't service kids AFTER we had been standing waiting. I know this information is false because I was recommended from another mom who said she had done her daughter's hair. IF this information is true, why wait til I arrive to my appt to tell me this? I put in the notes for my appt that it was for my daughter. I also booked the appt a week or so in advance...So unprofessional and a waste of time.
