I am seeing lots of negative reviews on this place and seeing that a big part of the complaints come from customers (without naming sex, race, etc) that doesn’t align to what the real problem is. I have been to almost every Great Clips in Frisco/Prosper area and this is by far the best one. Now, with that said - I am seeing a trend of many stylists either quitting or relocating to other Great Clips locations outside of the Frisco/Prosper due to the lack of tipping. First off, I have lost very good stylists at Great Clips in this area because of the majority of clients coming into these locations either leaving a small tip OR not leaving a tip at all. Simple - if you get a bad haircut, it doesn’t constitute a tip. But if you get a great haircut, then please tip your stylists. Not talking about $1.00 or $2.00–but dang, leave at least a $5.00 tip. They don’t get paid well off their hourly and depend on tips to make a living. I mean—there are many users on this thread of reviews who use these 8.99 coupons and only leave a buck or two. That’s insult to injury. Love Paige who manages everyone to cut quality cuts and get people in and out considering how busy this location gets. They are always fully staffed on a Saturday but Vianney and Oliver are my favorites—including the others who have cut my hair once or twice. Ok - I get some got some bad cuts—notably unacceptable for those stylists who were guilty for that. But honestly - I would say that the employee morale at Great Clips is motivated by respectful customers as well. It works both ways. Please tip your stylists. I can assure you that those that feel they are getting bad service or singled out might be because of the frustration of all the Great Clips stylists I hear from this at just about every location in North Dallas area. These stylists don’t make enough to put up with a disrespectful customer that walks out and literally pays them 1.00 or nothing. I am frustrated that we are losing great stylists because we have many that just refuse to tip. Sorry —but I feel for each Great Clips employees in the entire Frisco/Prosper area that are victims to this. My theory is: tip your stylists and make them feel valued. They don’t get paid enough to put up with bad apples walking in and disrespecting their bottom line. Yes, everything is going up in costs everywhere—but that is happening everywhere. Doesn’t mean that stylists deserve to be treated unfairly. Sorry—but this is a trend I am seeing everywhere and hope that this changes because I see talented stylists leaving and then all those non-tippers will be waiting for hours just to get a haircut when staff is low because they are leaving the profession like flies. I will continue to tip well because one day we won’t have many stylists left and very worried that in a few years stylist industry will be very $$ because there wont be enough and we will all be paying $40.00 haircuts one day.

Sometimes it goes well, sometimes the stylists are very impatient. Despite if me insisting multiple that I don’t want the hair to be cut on the top area for my kid, the stylist did exactly same.

Showed a wait time of over 40 minutes right before they close, and when I got to the store at 7:59 after the app told me to head in anytime before eight, I was rudely yelled at by the staff and told to leave. I waited in the area for over 2 hours. I also may add - I called twice during the day and mother time toward closing to ask when it would be my turn and was completely ghosted. I tell you, this great clips will never get my business every again and I will steer all of my family that lives in prosper and Celina far away from this location.
