- ERE RAug 3, 20251.0I took a chance in spite of the bad reviews and reputation and I wish I hadn't. I had messed up my own hair cutting it myself so I figured it couldn't get any worse. I was wrong, at first she just snipped away randomly, never even wet my hair and it is very frizzy when air dried so it only made things more complicated and it looked like she wasn't even evening out anything. After she said she was done I asked her to wet the hair and I showed her how to take vertical sections and cutting at an angle, which she tired but as I would find out later make no significant improvements. Then we went ahead and thinned out the section of the hair I asked to leave alone. I finally realized I cut my losses before I ended up with a guy's haircut and when I got home I saw it was still all messed up, just much much shorter. Needless to say...never again. I don't want to call her out by name but it made me wonder if her license is real, I've never seen anyone cut hair so wrong from start to finish. She was very nice in receiving my feedback but that's the only positive I can think of.

Maya took the time to understand what I wanted, gave me some options and told me she wanted me to feel good about my haircut even if it took time. She asked me multiple times if I was ok and gave me options throughout if I wanted something different. I was blown away by this level of service. Definitely going back!

I came in for a haircut and beard trim, and unfortunately, the stylist- Allie- did not deliver the level of service I expected. She didn’t clearly understand what I asked for, and once the cut was done, it was obvious that my beard was uneven- noticeably off on one side. When I politely pointed this out and asked her to fix it, she simply said it was fine and didn’t need correction. That kind of dismissive attitude is unacceptable, especially when customers are paying for the service and tipping on top of that. It would’ve taken just a few seconds to fix, but instead I was left feeling awkward and dissatisfied. I won’t be returning to this location, and I strongly recommend avoiding both this place and this stylist. Great Clips should seriously consider training their staff to be more attentive, respectful, and professional with customer feedback.
