The barber said she didn’t know what that was — which should have been my cue to leave. I went ahead anyway, and the haircut turned out very poor. It wasn’t blended, wasn’t even, and looked nothing like what I asked for, even after I repeated the request during the cut. To top it off, when I didn’t leave a tip (because the service was poor), the barber shook her head in disappointment. Tips are earned, not expected after a bad haircut. Would not recommend.

However, after completing the haircut, she directly asked me for a tip, saying “No tip?” When I said no, she shook her head in disappointment, clearly showing her reaction. I believe tipping should always be optional and based on the customer’s choice, not something to be demanded. The service charge already covers the haircut, and no customer should feel pressured or uncomfortable about giving a tip. This experience was disappointing and unprofessional.
