  Went home crying. It's the next day after receiving this CUT and I'm still sad...didn't even sleep good. It's a shame how little people care. Susan asked what I wanted. I said a "trim" I'm trying to grow my hair out. She proceeded to wash my hair which was a decent job. When she conditioned it she rinsed it was very hot water I was always taught to rinse your hair with cold water. When we got back to the chair she started roughly combing my hair out she was not gentle at all and end up pulling a lot more hair out than was necessary. She wanted to know about my medicine? I did tell her I was on nothing but that I also worked outside all May June and July the heat was probably messing with my hair. She did not take her time. Then we talked about my hair some more and she just pulled some hair out and CUT! She NEVER showed or asked me if this was all the right length before she made the first cut she just went to whacking on my hair. I was completely distraught. 4-5 inches is NOT a trim. We talked about long layers. Another well-known client came in ( I knew this because she was called by name) and she chatted her up while cutting my hair. I felt ignored and invalued. The first choppy layer is around my chin and uneven and ugly. Once she was done cutting, she asked how that felt, but I hadn't even touched my hair I couldn't tell anything about it. It was wet! Then she went on to blow dry my hair and was very rough with her comb and brush she wasn't gentle or caring at all. Also this was supposed to be an hour-long appointment and it lasted maybe 25 minutes. I was so heartbroken and distraught I could hardly think. When she was done fixing my hair it was poofy and minimally fixed. I can't stand that most beauticians are scissor happy. If your client tells you they are trying to grow their hair out long don't cut off so much. I will not be back here again I'll move on and try and find someone else. I've done this for 3 years now and keep being disappointed. I know some people will say it's just hair, it will grow back. But it is MY hair and I love it and I am trying to do something with it but every time I get disappointed with these hairdressers. My heart broke. Also this kind of haircut isn't going to grow back in 3 to 6 months this will probably take over a year to get back to my length I was at. Pictures of before and after my "trim". 2 weeks apart.

  I got my hair highlighted yesterday from Hannah. She did an amazing job. She took her time and gave me the results I wanted. Im very satisfied with her service Thanks again Hannah!

  I was frustrated with my hair a few months ago. I decided to give Jc Penny Salon a call just to see their availability. I got in same day and had the pleasure to get a haircut by one of the nicest hairstylists; Deborah! I simply had to return after my first great cut, and immediately asked for her. Once again - I was able to be seen same day and received such a wonderful haircut that exceeded my expectations! She is awesome and I WILL for sure return!!

  I was in dire need of hair care and had recently moved to Lufkin. I got a coupon in my mail for a cut and color and made an appointment. I knew no one at the salon and was told I would be seeing Linda for my services. I arrived promptly for my appointment the next day and Linda made me feel very comfortable. She was perfect with both my hair coloring and giving me a flattering cut. I will definitely be going back to her. I feel so lucky to have been directed to her.
