WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I. WILL. NEVER. RECOMMEND THIS SALON TO ANYONE! Very rude, belittling towards their "clients," very disrespectful, ignorant, and arrogant. If I could rate them with a "0" then I definitely will give it to them. Andropolis is where it was at.
Here's why:
I wanted to have my hair highlighted for the summer, as well as for my internship, not being from around the Lubbock area was a deficit for me in this case when got in touch with a salon I had felt like I was familiar with. When I went in for my appointment, the stylist there didn't feel like she would be able to lift my hair to the color that I wanted and tried to act like she knew what she was doing, whether a client has to sign papers or not doesn't excuse her from not knowing what she was doing. She had 3 people, including herself roughly working on my hair, and left my hair with bleach and metal clips under the heater for a long time until it was ready. I myself have worked in a chain salon and have family members who have worked in this industry for a long time to know that she wasn't doing it right. She didn't even keep the toner in long enough for it to sit, and burned little bits of my scalp to where I had scabs in there for the next two days. My hair is naturally blonde so lifting wasn't a difficult task at all, but it definitely wasn't the color that I wanted. I had patches of bleach blonde still, as well as orange and other stuff. Don't listen to them go on about "all of their training" that they have gone through. It wasn't just processing, and she could have done this all in one sitting, but we had been there since 12:45pm, by the time we checked out it was almost 5:15 and as a human being with time not being on my side I had other things to take care of by that time, and didn't have time to talk to a manager that day. I left there extremely unsatisfied and have been getting my hair colored for over 10 years, and I've never cried over my hair up until that evening once I got into my car, because of how bad it was. I called the manager almost 3 days later, after getting everything fixed, and was HORRENDOUS!!! Every woman's worst hair nightmare: She was very overwhelmingly ignorant, rude, defensive, belittled me, while talking on top of me and refused to reimburse me for one of her stylist's mistakes. She also acted very arrogant towards me, even being an old client of hers, she also contradicted herself numerous times over the phone while being argumentative. After being hung up on, to being talked on top of, to being disrespected, and all I was trying to do was get to the bottom of this problem I had. I just wanted my money back for the job that her stylist could not fulfill, so I could have some closure after what I experienced, she told me that she would never take me as a client again. They can keep the money, it's just pitiful, but I will be sharing one of every woman's worst hair stories. Don't go to Ulta's hair salon! Save yourself, your time, dignity, and your money and spend it elsewhere. This isn't the place if you want top notch quality hair. Andropolis gave me their time and 200% effort to give me the hair I absolutely wanted and loved and restored my happiness and the owner of Andropolis (the salon that saved my hair) asked me why I was so nice and didn't ask for my money back? Don't allow the manager at the Ulta Salon try to blame it on you and your beautiful and amazing hair that they ruined. Get your money back ASAP if you risk going in there to lighten your hair.

getting the brow shape that’s right for you. Once you've mapped out your
shape, your Brow & Beauty Expert will work with you to achieve that shape
through a service, product, or both.
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY UPCOMING BEAUTY SERVICE?
Brow and Lash Tint services: If you have never had dye or tint on your hair,
brows, or lashes, you must have a 24-hour patch test* before receiving a
tint service. Just drop by your nearest Benefit to get one, no appointment
required. Say no to self-tanning or spray tanning for 24 hours before and
after your tinting service.
Brow Lamination services: If you have allergies to hair dye or perming
solutions, you must have a 24-hour patch test* before receiving a
lamination service. Swing by your local Benefit to get one, no appointment
required. Make sure you haven't had a brow lamination within the 6 weeks
prior to your appointment.

We get it, things happen! We’ll do our best to accommodate. However, if
you’re more than 5 minutes late for your appointment, your spot may be
given to another customer.
