- RSRandy SkilesApr 4, 20261.0I visited this Great Clips location on Easter weekend, so I want to be fair in acknowledging it was an unusually busy time. I checked in via the app before leaving home and was told I had a 15-minute wait. I arrived five minutes early to find the salon completely packed. I waited outside for a second text alert, at which point a staff member — who appeared to be a manager — came out and assured me I was next in line and that it wouldn't be long. She mentioned they had seven stylists on duty and that most customers inside were waiting for specific stylists, implying I'd be seen quickly. Despite that reassurance, I stood outside for an additional 20 minutes without seeing a single customer leave. At that point, between the original 15-minute estimate and my time waiting outside, nearly 45 minutes had passed with no indication I was any closer to being seen. I left without getting a haircut. The staff seemed friendly and the manager made an effort to communicate with me, which I appreciated. However, the app's wait time estimate was significantly inaccurate, never gave me an update on the wait time, and the in-person assurances did not reflect the actual situation inside. Better communication about realistic wait times would go a long way.

I have had the other ladies cut my hair and I can't think of a single one that does not know what they are doing. Each knows how to suggest product, friendly, and each has repeat customers. I went to specialty salons not one of those could hold a candle to these ladies. Ask them.to keep a card on the style, what they used, etc. They will have you in their systems after that. They also listen to what you want. If you need them to be conservative with the style until you get the right length, they will be patient all the way through. I, our mother, my sister have used them for at least 2 decades. Actually nearly 30 yrs, now that I think about it.

Ram cuts hair very well and is meticulous. I’ve gone more regularly every two weeks because he’s so consistent.

If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
