Something she does every week at Great Clips in Florida and several times at this location while visiting me here in League City. The whole reason she goes is because it is hard for her to wash and dry her hair. So, she barely dried it with a towel; my MIL had to ask for a towel as it was still dripping down her back. Then, while still at the sink, she combed my MIL's hair, parted it, and sent her on her way like a drowned-rat. My MIL was embarrassed to say the least. Much to our surprise, the lady told her a simple blow-dry would be an additional $30. Keep in mind, we weren't asking for any styling. We were stunned and explained she had this done every week at home, in Florida, and several times at this location. The hairstylist responded that she would look up who had done it in the past because they should've been charging more. We went immediately home so I could rewet and dry it for her, trying to recover some volume and lose the part that never should've been. I felt so bad for my MIL. The stylist was rude and adamant that service doesn't come with any blow-drying. If she could dry her hair herself, she wouldn't need to come in for a shampoo either. Very disappointed.
