  I honestly do NOT recommend anyone to go here. These people are beyond unprofessional and they tell you one thing during consultation but do a complete opposite when it's time for your actual appointment. They talk bad about other hair stylist there when they leave right in front of the clients (which is bad for business) and I DARE someone say I'm lying because I WILL SAY EACH AND EVER THING EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU SAID ABOUT THOSE HAIRSTYLIST! They talk about sexual things infront of CHILDREN which is wild....they call it speaking "in code" but clearly it obvious what they are talking about.... especially Shontai or Shonay (whatever her name is) she don't know how to just stop speaking about another clients private matters infront of children. They pulled and STRIPPED most of my hair out and I have 4c hair. Shontai used a small tooth comb (which is fine) but she used ABSOLUTELY NO conditioner in my hair while taking out the braids...just ROSE WATER! As if that helped. My head is still tender from the hard tugging and pulling she was doing. Both ladies Shontai and Nayla stood over my head huffing and puffing and showing frustration just to take down my hair. Well WHY DO YOU DIVE INTO THIS TYPE OF PROFESSION IF YOU ARE EASILY IRRITATED OVER TAKING DOWN HAIR....ITS YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION. Never will I ever go here again nor recommend anyone here. And trust me soooo many people ask me about a good spot to get their hair done and I will tell them about the good ones and rest ensure tell them NOT to go to this one. The ONLY reason I went here was because the hair dresser I was originally suppose to go to couldn't do my hair til the end of March cause of Vacation wise and RECOMMENDED me to theses people. But even SHE said she will no longer recommend people to them after I told her my horror story these people inflict on and around me. They are messy and gossip about each other behind each other backs (not professional) y'all suppose to be like family, yet that's not the atmosphere I felt while being there. If I could give a 0 star I would. They talked about Victoria and a few others behind their backs and even talked bad about old or previous clients. So classless and I wouldn't be surprised if I become another "HOT TOPIC" in their Salon. Gossip away cause it's not going to make me take down this post nor change my mind about this "establishment." Jessica (the owner) was no help, just continue to make excuses for them when talking to her about the situation and questioning my experience.

  Victoria did an amazing job! She was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions! Very professional and the salon is TEA!!! Will be a returning client! All of the stylist were friendly, booked, and busy!!

  I came in requesting a significant cut to remove color-treated hair and was very clear that my priority was hair health, not length retention. I’ve big-chopped before and was comfortable doing so again. The stylist suggested trying a protein treatment first and “going from there,” which I agreed to with the understanding that we would reassess afterward. However, after the treatment, my original concern about the clear texture difference between my natural hair and the colored hair was not resolved, despite being told otherwise. Throughout the appointment, the cut I initially requested was repeatedly discouraged, and the direction of the service was redirected. Toward the end of the appointment, it also became apparent there was confusion about what I originally came in for, which was frustrating after nearly two hours. By the time the stylist offered to do the cut, I no longer felt comfortable proceeding, as I had lost trust in the process and was overwhelmed. After leaving, I also noticed I was charged the full price for a short haircut, even though my hair was only trimmed and shaped. While the stylist was kind and well-intentioned, I did not feel listened to as a client, and there was a disconnect between my clearly stated goal and the service delivered. Clear communication, consent, and alignment with client priorities are especially important, and unfortunately that was missing in this experience.

  When I met Jessica when she was working out of one rent room and I knew I had found my hair home. She is the best and hires the best. Her stylist Alexis did an amazing job. I came in for a natural cut today and rather than giving her a picture, I trusted that she would understand and know exactly what to do with my hair. It was different from what I had imagined and so so so much better than a picture. I am absolutely glowing. I will be going back again and again and again. These people are honest and know what they are doing with natural hair and make sure you feel right at home.
