- DHDani HOct 26, 20253.0I shop at Ulta and Sephora more than I should and doing Amazon returns doesn’t help. I have enjoyed to this Sephora and I’m not going to let one experience ruin it for me but I think it’s got to be noted that I had the most rude experience. I don’t care much for flattery, I will listen for recommendations but I usually have my mind set on what I want. This time I just went for my birthday gift. I wasn’t 100% sure so first thing I asked was that. Girl already seemed annoyed. She went and asked me to type in my number said it didn’t work, asked for email said it didn’t work so I asked to retype it maybe she didn’t type it right she was more annoyed I offered to check and she asked me to go around and then was like oh I guess I didn’t type it right. Not even saying happy birthday or anything basically told me I only get “something” I don’t catch what she said it was almost a mumble, basically like take it or leave it. I’m not even sure what I get for my birthday and I didn’t really care I normally don’t go out getting things but I had my youngest and niece with me and my youngest loves me buying Sephora. sometimes I get my daughters things. So more than anything I wanted to give her my gift because she always wants a picture with her little bag. This employee literally ruined the mood. Not a single smile, have a nice day, or even a happy birthday. Like I said I normally don’t have this experience. They are not always the most bubbly and nicest but never this cold, annoyed and care less attitude. I worked customer service jobs prior to my current job and I don’t know if it’s just this generation or what but man I miss just common courtesy and just being kind. Whatever you have going on leave outside of work.

I go to check out and she says “I’m sorry is this Cell was over yesterday” I said well it says right there 30% off. Is there something you can do about it since the sign is still up? Nope Nada! So I left. First time at at this company/brand ever. Won’t be back.
