- CKCaitlin Kauth-FisherMar 31, 20261.0I know when going to great clips not to expect greatness but I always go because my hair cut takes like 10 minutes and it’s very basic. I got my hair cut by Angelica and by far one of the worst interactions I’ve ever had at a great clips. She asked if I wanted layers and I said no thank you and that my hair is super fine without getting into specifics. She proceeded to tell me my hair was bad because it was super fine and thin. She then proceeded to give me a sales pitch of some hair growth stuff which I politely declined. She then didn’t even brush my hair out to cut it and proceeded to barely pay attention to cutting my hair while complaining about her coworkers. I kept nodding and smiling just hoping the cut would be over soon. She then proceeded to tell me my hair was really bad again and go back into her sales pitch. I know my hair is not the best and was falling out due to a medication I was taking and stress but that is not something I cared to share. I have been feeling confident because the “breakage” she was seeing is actually new growth. Overall all I am done going to great clips the company sucks I’ve never had a good haircut from any of the store across the US. Do better. Edit: I added a photo of my hair cut you can see nothing is blended and that it looks like a chop job near my face 🫠

My stylist was Angelica- they didn't have my previous notes for my haircut despite going to Great clips for many years. Before we even sat down she was trying to sell different products and telling me she'll give me a discount. Very weird vibe. Haircut was finished probably within 6 minutes. Something seems off with her/this location. During the haircut a man walked into the store and she told me we have to behave because the owner is here....

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
