Beware!!!!!!!! Disappointed by inconsistent pricing and poor management at Woodhouse Spa (Houston/Galleria) I’ve been a longtime Woodhouse Spa fan, but my recent experience at the Galleria location left me extremely disappointed. My husband bought me a $400 gift card, and I scheduled an appointment near home. At checkout, I found that the gift card terms listed a Calming Retreat for $285 and a Hydro Facial for $215, yet at this location those services were priced at $355 ( not to mention she said $426 which was still wrong) and $255, respectively. The price differences felt arbitrary and were never communicated to us beforehand. When I contacted management, I was told that prices “change and vary” and that I must have an old price book. I reminded them that they provided us a brochure when we bought the gift card, so how were we supposed to know that this brochure only applied at a different Woodhouse location? We were still in Houston, not out of state. Their response came across as insulting and unhelpful, which added to the frustration. This kind of price inconsistency within a chain is confusing and unacceptable, especially when the gift card and promotions aren’t honored uniformly or clearly disclosed before checkout. It would help if Woodhouse Spa could standardize pricing across locations or clearly disclose location-specific rates and any exceptions to gift card promotions before checkout. I’ve always appreciated Woodhouse for its quality and service, but this experience has made me reconsider my loyalty. I hope the company addresses these pricing discrepancies and improves communication so future guests aren’t surprised at the register. Pros: - Comfortable atmosphere and generally good service at other locations (if applicable) Cons: - Inconsistent pricing between locations - Gift card terms not clearly explained at checkout - Management’s defensiveness and rude handling of the situation - Perceived lack of transparency about location-specific rates Would I recommend? NO!!! $610 for a massage and facial is absurd, especially in a busy mall. Oh, not to mention, they were given tours to whoever passed by where they could come into our private areas as we were getting dressed and relaxing just to show what the spot look like. I was really uncomfortable with that as well.

I have always enjoyed coming to this location, but, David truly put the icing on the cake. He was extremely attentive, remembered details I forgot about that we talked about throughout the booking process and is so knowledgeable. He was a superstar and a standout to me. I love coming in to see Miss Alice but I truly look forward to seeing David again. Love it here!

Horrible service, all they want is your money, massage therapist was great, she followed standard procedure, management and bussines model designed to give the very lowest and take as much as possible, that never reimburse anything (small letter clause I guess) unethical is what I would call this place, they kept my money almost $400 to be in a tub for 15 min. They kept my money for the fascia had purchased and never delivered. Horrible management the over weight guy there was very rude to me actin as if he was doing me a favor and I was not paying for it.

Out of all the woodhouse locations I will definitely keep coming here (despite that I hate driving through Houston). This location by far is the cleanest. And I have always had an amazing massage every visit. The staff are all lovely and friendly. I have had Swedish massage, meditative mood soak, and a hydrafacial here and I would come back again. My favorite has been the meditative mood soak. The ladies locker room is also clean and so accommodating with all toiletry needs The only 2 things I would request 1) is to not be pushed to buy post care products. After a relaxing massage I don’t want to be lectured about “suggested items to buy” 2) for the front massage room by front desk I felt like that room was not as private especially with the door opening/closing and you could hear the staff chatting from the room. Outside of that I will keep coming back!

Had a great experience here! I booked a massage that was much needed and the stuff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were drinks and snacks offered that added an extra touch that was super thoughtful. Would definitely come back again to try their other services.
