I had been curious about this spa for a while so I booked a massage for my birthday. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming and left a lot to be desired. I usually go to the Trellis Spa at the Houstonian and I will likely just stick to that spa from now on. Ideally, I prefer a seamless spa experience. Most of the amenities were in the locker room with a few lounging amenities in another room while you wait for your massage. There were limited snacks, small cheap bottles of water, the pool area is on another floor, and the restaurants are as well. They only have one attendant who could not be very attentive because he had to help out several people coming in and out. I usually spend hours at the spa, but after I got my massage, I just left to go somewhere else.

Hands down our favorite hotel in Houston. The service and staff are incredible. They never miss a beat and the quality of service is unmatched. Whenever we visit Isaiah, the bellman, always makes us feel special and always greets us with a huge smile. We look forward to seeing him every visit. And make sure to visit the spa. It’s lovely and peaceful!

My husband and I, along with our best friends, booked a 60-minute couples massage on a Saturday afternoon. While the spa is clean and the staff is polite and helpful, the experience fell short of expectations. Before you enter the spa, they require you to sign a cell phone policy, but it wasn't enforced. In the locker room, we noticed multiple guests FaceTiming and recording videos, making the small space feel overcrowded and lacking privacy. Once in the "quiet room," the lack of seating made it challenging to relax while waiting for our massages. It certainly wasn't the tranquil environment we anticipated with so many people present. Given the caliber of the Post Oak and the price of the services, I expected a more relaxing experience. Unfortunately, the massage itself was disappointing. I regularly get massages, and this was by far the worst I've ever had. The gentleman who worked on me was polite but seemed to lack proper training or knowledge, leading to long stretches of inactivity where I was just lying there. Despite clearly communicating my target areas and preferred pressure beforehand, those expectations were not met. My past experiences with male massage therapists have been hit or miss; sadly, this was a miss. In contrast, my husband and our friends, who had female therapists, found their massages wonderful. Considering the price point at this spa, there are many other establishments in Houston that offer a much higher quality of service.

Hands down, this was the best massage I have ever received. From start to finish, the experience was top notch. The massage itself was incredibly relaxing and therapeutic. The locker room staff were attentive and welcoming, making sure everything I needed was taken care of, and the entire area was kept spotless, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the level of care and professionalism here. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality spa experience!
