  I’m so grateful I found this salon!! Khaliyah!!! Got a consultation for a curly cut and color and she was kind and efficient and working with me into what could work for my hair and my color goals. She explained completely what she was going to do and gave me a budget on how much it would be. I paid my deposit and set up the appointment for the “procedure” . During my service she and the rest of the team were super friendly and fun you can tell they’re very knowledgeable about their craft and work together as a team. I enjoyed the whole process of my color and cut; Khaliyah was so patient with me while I was trying to makeup my mind about what I wanted, I’m glad I listened to her advice because we ended up with a beautiful healthy gorgeous hair. Will definitely be coming back to get my folllow ups with her.

  I appreciate the salon's cleanliness, it's soothing vibe and the professionalism of their receptionist, Brittany. She set the tone in her warm welcome which helped me to relax because I was a little nervous - this was my first visit. Trevonna is an excellent, top tier stylist and I'm very grateful that I was paired with her. Her knowledge of her craft put me at ease and I soon relaxed and entrusted myself to her expertise. And she did not disappoint. Her skill level is immediately apparent and one can relax knowing she will only do what you request and she wants your hair to be as healthy as possible. Overall, I would rate Salon Rose as one the best in Houston and highly recommend Trevonna to anyone looking for a stylist who is extremely experienced, honest and knowledgeable and genuinely desires to give your hair the best treatment that will compliment you and be in healthy condition.

  Tonight was my second time visiting Salon Rose, and having my hair done by the amazing stylist, Kenn! I'm in the awkward stage of regrowing my hair out, but you'd never know it after Kenn gets done with it. Today, she completed two strand twists that look so nice I don't want to take them down. This after receiving the most relaxing and wonderfully fragrant protein steam treatment to help to repair and restore my hair. At my first appointment last month, she did bantu knots after my trim to cut off all the damaged hair made it too short to do flat twists. I love that she was able to give me a cute alternative on the fly. Kenn is amazing at making sure the parts are absolutely perfect and that you are happy with her styling before you leave. I have been searching for a while to find someone who cares about keeping my hair healthy, and I believe I've found that someone in Kenn at Salon Rose. To date, I've had nothing but amazing experiences at Salon Rose, and I'm already booked for my next appointment. So looking forward to it.

  I used to love coming here intell my bad experience I had yesterday. I came in for highlights and a blowout yesterday. Mind you, I had a consultation beforehand with Rosalia and wasn’t even able to have her as my stylist because she’s fully booked for the next 2 months which would have been nice to know over the phone before they booked my consultation with her. Second, the earliest appointment they could get me in for yesterday was 11:30 am and I had told them in advance I would be on a time crunch because I had to go into work. My appoinment was at 11:30 am and I didn’t get called into the chair intell 12:30 pm. And there was no apology whatsoever for the inconvenience. 1 hour having to wait after my appoinment time is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Also, my stylist seemed like she just did not want to do my hair at all. I overheard her complaining to her coworker and I just felt like such a burden being in that chair the whole time. And because she started on my hair so late (even after I mentioned three times I had to be at work at a certain time), we never got to do a blowout after doing my highlights and I ended up having to go into work with soaking wet unfinished hair. Absolutely unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

  This was a poor experience and I will not be back. In truth, I use to frequent this salon about 1 yr ago and you can tell something’s have changed. Previously, I would totally recommend this place, but after today I can’t. Had a stylist named Aniiyah do the medium two strand twist on my 14 y/o. These were the worst 2 strand twist I had ever had done. The twist were NOT mediums and honestly could argue between large and some jumbo. Barely any product was used and so it was dry and frizzy at the ends. I use the entire innersense haircare line and so I came back home and retwisted the entire hair with Nairobi foam and inner sense gel and the scalp oil because it looked horrible for school tomorrow. My daughter said she felt the hair wash and deep conditioning was good, the styling was poor. She may be a good stylist regarding blow outs, and other styles. ( i don’t know.. just hypothesizing). But, her two strand twist are NOT worth the drive nor the time. Customer service is lacking as well. Overall, will NOT be back !!!
