A young associate began assisting me however, shortly after, I observed the manager redirect her to help other customers—even though I had been in the store for less than two minutes. It was also noticeable that assistance was being offered to other customers, while I was the only Black customer present and was not provided the same level of service. Realizing that I was not going to receive equitable assistance, I chose not to move forward with my purchase. I will not be spending my money at any establishment that does not treat all customers with fairness and respect.

I did not touch them after looking at the tags when they arrived and realizing I ordered the wrong boxes. I brought them to the store to exchange them and I believe it was the manager who was doing the exchange. They looked at one of the presents and went “you opened this we can’t return it”. I told them I didn’t and they showed me the sides were taped and said that’s not how they make the presents. I didn’t even realize the sides were taped until this interaction. They wouldn’t exchange that gift. I have never left a negative review and the other employees were so nice and helpful but I am incredibly offended that the manager immediately believed I was lying and was trying to exchange an opened gift when it was literally sent to me like that.
