  I worked at the JCPenney corporate office in Plano for several years and have had three different stylists since starting there in 2001. My most recent stylist at the Fairview salon left about two years ago, so I hadn’t found a new regular yet. Two days ago, I realized I had forgotten to book a hairstyle for my son’s wedding, but thankfully I was able to get a last-minute appointment with Kona yesterday. I explained that I wanted vertical curls all the way around and showed her a photo for reference. She asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. Kona took her time and was incredibly meticulous, making sure each curl was just right. The final result was beautiful, and I received so many compliments throughout the evening. Thank you, Kona, for such an amazing job—I truly appreciate your care and attention to detail!

  I’ve been going to this salon for at least a year now. But after yesterday, I will be going somewhere else. For a stylist (Sabrina) to ask a racial micro-aggression question after showing her a reference photo for bangs and a musical artist I mentioned beforehand that I wanted to see in concert but whose tickets sold out, then to say, "I'm not trying to offend you," is absurd at its core. I’ll be going to another JCPenney salon.

  Nora Reyes is the absolute best hair stylist you will ever meet! She is a professional. She takes her time to make you look perfect! She keeps up with what is trendy and she has the best tools that money can by! She uses the best products! She will take care of you! She is the absolute best! She should be teaching beauty school! She should have her own salon! I cannot say enough - she is the absolute best hair stylist you will ever meet!
