I have super straight hair and my daughter has had straight hair until recently….and apparently I know nothing about taking care of curly hair. Helen Marie showed me an inspiration image for what my daughter’s hair could look like and whoa was she right. I would never have imagined her hair could look like that. Helen Marie showed me how to take care of my daughter’s hair and helped me get products I knew nothing about (a styling brush?! A bonnet?!) The before and after! 🤯

I have been delighted with every single maintenance cut, but I’ve always asked for the same long layered look for long to extra long length hair. We did a big chop yesterday and I especially appreciated her restraint and professional judgement. She was a bit more conservative on length initially, but provided multiple opportunities to refine and shorten. She accounted for bouncier, unweighted curls shrinking. It turned out beautifully and I’m quite happy, as expected. I no longer live in Austin, but drive 1.5 hrs to continue living my best curly-girl life. lol. Thank you, Jasmin!!
