I went again today and it was the last straw. The staff was really rude even towards my son who is only 8. Also he was doing was shaking his leg and she immediately placed her hand on his leg and gave him a rude look to stop. I am definitely not going back due to the rude staff and terrible haircuts. I was also trying to stand next to my son to see his haircut and she wouldn’t let me.

She was professional, incredibly kind, and had such a warm, cheerful demeanor. The haircut itself was excellent, and I told her so when she handed me the mirror. I genuinely felt cared for and appreciated her skill. After the haircut, I asked her name because I wanted to remember the person who made the experience so positive. Heba replied with a smile, and I was glad to know who to thank personally. However, what followed left me uncomfortable. Her supervisor approached and insisted on inspecting my haircut, despite my clear expression of satisfaction. I told her twice that I was happy with the result and that Heba had done a wonderful job, but the supervisor continued to scrutinize my hair as if I were a training model rather than a customer. She then made a comment about my hair that felt intrusive and unnecessary. This experience left me wondering: if Great Clips doesn’t trust the professionals they hire, why are they placed in customer-facing roles? Is the goal to train supervisors at the expense of a customer’s comfort? I gave Heba a generous tip and truly wish I had more cash on hand to further express my appreciation. She deserved every bit of it—and more.
