The quality has drastically gone down hill here at the eastern Bell and Whitestone, Cedar Park, location. Back in September 2025 I received a horrific hair cut and beard trim here, the stylist literally did nothing right can gave me a lopsided Mr. Zorg hair cut (Gary Oldman in the Fifth Element). Normally, I'm not the type to voice my complaints to service, giving the benefit of the doubt. But, there were so many mistargets that I couldn't let it go. So, I worked up the courage to come back that evening for a fix. The manager was on duty then, did her best to even things up with another less than ideal haircut and she was embarrassed for me for how bad it was, admitting this was "the worst haircut she has ever seen, truly horrible." She said she would have words with the stylist, retrain her, and said to come back in a few months for a complementary haircut because of how horrible it was, and they I need not worry because there was a note on my account for a free haircut... It was now December, months pass after ridicule and exclamation of people who knew me asking what happened to my beard and hair.. Only to find the stylist waiting there to cut my hair... It was awkward, then even more awkward because I explained before sitting that I was there to use the comp'd haircut. She asked who did my hair, which awkward, as I said "I'm fairly certain it was you." It was a whole thing for them to track down my "note" supposedly in the system and them having to reach a manager by phone, only to be gas-light by her about it. Eventually I have to speak to this manager, it didn't sound like the same one from before and she explained because I came in the same day for a fix, again gas-lighted, then she said the best they could do is a discounted haircut... By the same lady who messed it up... Yeah, no thanks. I'll never go to a "great" clips again. Don't trust who literally lacks an appropriate system for accountability and can't honor their word, unless of course you enjoy a haircut like a toddler over confidently gives a Barbie. Lol
