First time here after reading all the rave reviews and they did not disappoint!!
Booking was super easy, staff was really nice and super helpful. I got a deep tissue massage with Adam and he was amazing! I came in with super tight shoulders and neck and walked out feeling great. He made sure to check in about pressure and pain throughout and was really great to work with all around. Will definitely be back soon!

I've had two great deep tissue massages here, from Adam and from Bailey. The private massage rooms are comfortable, clean, and serene. The location is convenient, just off 183 and Whitestone. I also love being able to schedule online, and my visits have been positive on all points. Both Bailey and Adam are top-notch therapists.

Christina was fabulous! The second she found those massive knots in my back she used the perfect amount of pressure to work them out. Both her and the atmosphere were very relaxing, the eucalyptus aromatherapy smelled great and it was all much needed. Would highly recommend.

I want to adjust the pressure of my massage, what should I do?
You are encouraged to openly communicate with your massage therapist about your preferences and comfort. If anything needs to be adjusted, or if we are almost (but not quite) getting the right spot, just speak up and let us know right away! For deeper pressure it is a myth that massage therapy needs to hurt in order to be effective. Some of the most effective techniques involve very light, gentle touch. Often, too much pressure can cause muscles to tighten further, and detract from the effectiveness of your treatment.
Do I completely undress for my massage?
This depends on your comfort level and the type of massage you are going to receive. For Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal Massage, many people prefer to be completely nude when they receive a massage, while others prefer to keep their underwear on.Tight-fitting or bulky undergarments can sometimes get in the way of the massage, especially if your problem areas are the low-back, buttocks, or hips. Women usually remove their bras so no straps are in the way of back and shoulder massage. For Sports massage you may be asked to leave some of your clothing on or to wear workout shorts.Licensed massage therapists must ensure that clients are always properly covered by a sheet or towel, and only the specific areas being massaged will be uncovered.
Can I leave my clothes on?
You can but it will be hard to massage areas that have clothing on. Those areas will receive compression massage only.
What should I do after I receive a massage?
Drink a lot of water, especially for the next 24 hours. Drinking water is generally a really good idea, but after massage it is a necessity. When you receive a massage naturally occurring toxins, which build up in your muscles from daily wear and tear, are released into your body. Massage loosens muscles and releases extra waste into your body resulting in extra work for your lymphatic system, which helps process the waste. This is where water comes to the rescue to flush your system and help the toxins clear your system. It is also important to remember that alcoholic, sugary and caffeinated beverages are all diuretics (they dehydrate you) and should be avoided or limited post massage. At least not immediately. Getting a massage, especially if it is a deep tissue massage, is similar to doing a workout. Just like with a workout, if you don’t do a proper cool down you will get some post massage soreness. Take a nice hot shower or bath. Work out before your massage. While it is important to keep yourself moving for a little while post massage, you need to make sure to give your muscles the proper rest if you want to continue feeling good after a massage. If you really want to get a good workout in, try to make it to the gym before your massage so you can have the best of both worlds.
What Is Lymphatic Drainage Massage?
The lymphatic system is a network of vessels and organs that lie beneath the skin, and it’s a critical component of a healthy immune system. In fact, your lymphatic system acts almost like a garbage disposal, helping your body filter out waste and bacteria.Lymphatic drainage massage, which is sometimes called manual lymphatic drainage, or MLD, involves gently massaging areas of the body to help move lymph fluid to an area with working lymph vessels.
How Does Manual Lymphatic Drainage Work?
Certified therapists commonly use MLD to relieve swelling by coaxing lymph fluid from your tissues to your functioning lymph nodes. Unlike traditional massage, lymphatic drainage massage uses light pressure to mobilize the lymphatic system, which lies directly beneath the skin.MLD follows a specific sequence, starting with the main drains in the body, including the lymph nodes in the neck, groin and armpits. The idea is that by massaging an area where there is no swelling, the congested lymph fluid will have somewhere to go because you’ve created space for it.
How Do You Know If You Would Benefit from Lymphatic Massage?
The most obvious sign of a compromised lymphatic system is swelling. Like the blood that’s part of your circulatory system, lymph fluid is constantly moving. If it stops, lymph fluid can build up and create swelling, usually in the arms and legs. If your rings feel tight or your clothes begin to feel a bit snugger, that could be a sign that you’re holding on to excess fluid. You might also experience pain and a feeling of heaviness. Most of the time, lymphatic vessels become congested as a result of surgery, infection, trauma or diseases like cancer. So, chances are good that if your lymphatic system is suffering, you’d know it. Infection and tight muscles may also be signs of congestion. In addition to cancer, conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, chronic venous insufficiency (which happens when your leg veins aren’t working correctly) and lipedema (where abnormal fat accumulates in your body) can cause lymphedema.
Can Healthy People Benefit From Lymphatic Drainage Massage?
If you have a healthy lymphatic system, lymphatic drainage massage isn’t likely to benefit you beyond simple relaxation. And despite celebrities claiming that lymphatic drainage massage makes them “red-carpet ready,” there’s no evidence that lymphatic drainage massage can help you slim down.Instead, using lymphatic drainage techniques may have a temporary trimming effect because it helps move fluid through the body (like spreading a stack of papers from one end of the counter across the entire surface).
How many treatments do you recommend?
Since everyone’s body reacts differently to Lymphatic drainage massages, we customize our to the treatments to suit each individual clients needs. Generally speaking, we advise booking in a series of sessions. One Lymphatic drainage massage treatment per week for 3 weeks and then continue treatment once a month for upkeep. If you experience a high frequency of common colds, allergies or headaches, one or two lymphatic drainage sessions every three months is very beneficial.
