- DDDannoJun 24, 20252.0A butcher job. Stylist insisted a taper haircut is only a trim around the ears and neck, nothing off the top. For 40 years a taper meant longer on the top and getting shorter towards the bottom. Instead of a taper, I got the left side mowed-down all to a half inch.
