LeachSep 18, 20251.0my usual place for haircuts was booked and i decided to try a new place. i was really nervous and scared. going here did not help that. the two people in there were not nice at all. the guy there asked if i checked in and i said "no....uhm. im new here...did i need to make an appointment?" and the guy there said "it was just a question." so the other lady there got my checked in. i tried to be friendly. told her what i needed to do on a haircut and i was alright with my undercut not going any higher. but the way she was telling me this was very condescending and i decided to bail before getting my hair cut. told her i needed to call my parents real quick she said "aren't you supposed to be getting a haircut" and i froze up. saw another customer and said "they can go ahead of me if that'd be better" and she said "well lets just cancel if you're unsure." immediately left. never go here.

I showed the stylist, Tim, a picture of what I wanted to try. I let him know that I wanted to keep my bangs longer since getting out for trims would be hard, He consulted with Amy about changing the bangs. She was rude and irritated that he asked. The style I chose was a layered chin length bob. Tim did not get my hair wet. He cut around the perimeter of my hair only. All he did was make it shorter. It was obvious that he did not know what he was doing. My hair is very thick. Not only did he not cut layers into my hair, he did not thin it out. I had to let him know that one side was longer than the other. What he did, I could have had someone in my family do at home. Amy continued to glare at us while he was butchering my hair, but said nothing. I finally felt up to getting out for some hair TLC after six weeks of having to stay home. Only to be extremely disappointed. I don't know when I will feel up to trying to have the mess corrected. I have gone to Great Clips since it opened and have never received such horrible service.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
