    My family and I had a very uncomfortable experience at this location (Mueller Center, Austin). On 4/11/26, my wife, our two young children, and I entered the store and were immediately subjected to what felt like targeted monitoring by multiple staff members. The store was busy, but the attention toward us felt noticeably different and made us feel singled out. From the moment we walked in, the interaction felt off. A staff member stared at my son in an awkward way, and when I tried to respond, I was abruptly interrupted and dismissed. The overall tone made us feel more watched than welcomed. After leaving, both my wife and I independently expressed how uncomfortable we felt, which says a lot. I returned to address it and was told staff were monitoring due to alleged theft, but that explanation did not match what we observed, and we were parked right in front of this store, and didn't see any law enforcement engaged with the store to address the claim they made. For context, we made purchases and visited a neighboring store without experiencing anything similar, which made this stand out even more. This experience left us feeling profiled and discouraged from returning. No customer, especially a family with young children, should feel scrutinized simply for walking into a store.

    Disappointed by the experience I had when trying to claim my birthday reward. Employee (blonde hair, blue eyes, two braided ponytails on 4/2/2036 around noon) didn’t greet me at the counter, looked me up and down, then asked “cash or card?” Had the store been busy, sure I get the rush, but there were 3 patrons in the store (myself included). I spend an incredible amount of money at Sephora and have never been treated that way. Hope there’s more guest service training in the future.

    I was helped by Becca and she was the most helpful beauty advisor I have ever had. She helped me match my foundation perfectly and even recommended a great blush. I have a hard time shopping at Sephora usually because of the beauty advisors, but I’ll be going back just because of Becca.

    TREAT YO SELF!!! I went to treat myself to some lashes yesterday. I was too lazy to do clusters myself & I'm awful at lash strips. SYDNEY B was so professional (licensed!) & ever so lovely. When we were done Sydney helped me find a dupe of a discontinued lipstick I'd been missing, and knew exactly where to go next, with simple cues like, "a little warmer in color", or "too pink", which I felt silly for. Sydney left me with a beautiful eye, and a beautiful lipstick that perfectly met my needs. I was a little overwhelmed by the time I left, with the lights & smells, but Sydney was ultra-professional & never made me feel weird for my neurodivergence. So go ahead & treat yo self! Tons of great services available from certified professionals at Sephora!
