  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wa Salon is an absolute gem! ✨ Due to uncontrollable situations my braider got sick but, they contacted me immediately, rebooked me with another braider which was amazing. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles, snacks, and drinks they really know how to make you feel at home. 💕 The atmosphere is beautiful, peaceful, and the location is super convenient. I got my boho braids done and they turned out gorgeous! 🙌🏽 When I thought a small adjustment was needed, they booked me in quickly without any judgment just pure kindness and professionalism. Definitely a 10/10 experience and 100% a salon I’ll be referring my friends to! 💁🏽‍♀️💖

  This was my first time at the salon, and it did not disappoint! Oye was so sweet, easy to talk to, and gave me the best silk press l've ever had. She took her time with everything from the wash, trim, and press, and you could tell she put much care and love into her work. She explained everything, let me know about some heat damage from a previous press, and even apologized for a short wait. The vibes were amazing, the space was clean, and I left feeling confident and obsessed with my hair. Can't wait to come back!

  I’ve been trying to make this review under my own account but it keeps getting removed. I had an appointment last weekend under Lauren. I specifically stated a high ponytail sew in. I showed the receptionist and the stylist. The stylist took a video of mine on her phone. I told her she has to lift the wefts to achieve the high ponytail needed for my work. She acted like she understood. She showed me the back can go up to a ponytail. Before I left I forgot to see if the front can seamlessly go up too. The next morning before work, I tried to put my hair up and couldn’t! I get fined for not having my hair a certain way at work. I had to take my hair down and have another stylist outside the salon re do it correctly. She stated the hair on the side was sewn in improperly. Apparently the stylist double wefted and flattened the sew in on the perimeter which is the OPPOSITE of that you’re supposed to do to achieve the desired look. Over $400 and not even doing what I asked of her. Thankfully I sent my pictures so my card company and my booking information showing what I asked for and what I received and they will be giving me a full refund. This unfortunately isn’t my first time here. I had braids done that took 5 extra hours even though I was told two people would be working on my hair and the second girl canceled last minute. Definitely my last time.

  The service was excellent and the shop was beautiful. I got a shampoo + blowdry by Oyem, and medium box braids by Corine. While blow-drying my hair, Oye helped me identify where my split ends were and gave me helpful recommendations. Corine consistently checked in with me while braiding my hair to make sure everything was the way I wanted it. In general, the staff was positive and attentive, and I will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

  The salon is absolutely gorgeous and feels Welcoming when you first walk in. Then the attention to detail and level of service is incredible. The girls are so gentle and through it truly felt like I could relax. I gotten braid maintenance done but what they offered so was much more. It truly felt like every step of the process was full of care. I can’t wait to come back.
