  Visited this location on 1/27 around 2:30/2:45pm, no one greeted or talked to me for about 10 minuets, no hello, welcome in. The employees were walking around like zombies, I tested and looked at a few things then left. I don’t know any my money going to a store that lacks customer service. The domain location is much friendlier.

  Overall, quality of service has really gone down at Sephora. I walked into this particular location at the Arboretum on a weekday around 10 am. The store was not busy, and there were 2-3 associates walking around, restocking, chatting, etc. I wasn’t greeted, which was ok. I needed one item, which I had purchased from this store multiple times in the past. I went straight to the brand’s section, only to not be able to find the item. I looked for the nearest associate and politely asked her if she could provide some assistance. She was moving products around on a shelf. She didn’t even look up and said “mmm hmmm” with an annoyed tone. I asked her if that product by that brand had been discontinued. She said, quote, “we have lots of brands which continually change their lineup, you need to just look it up online”. Wow, Sephora 😬

  They were very helpful and very knowledgeable about the products. The selection was good. As a black person it can be hard to find shades that match. I loved the make up by Mario. Wide selection of shades. Think that will be my next purchase.

  I try to avoid going to Sephora as a whole and there’s a reason for that; that’s because every time I step into a Sephora I feel like I’m treated like scum by the employees. Two employees that had finished helping out other customers walked right by me after they had finished helping out the other two, even though I was trying to speak up and talk to them. I would understand if it had been busier in there, but just really disappointing. I’m going to shop on Nest’s and Glossier’s individual websites from now on another reason as to why I choose Ulta…

  The salesperson was very helpful in explaining the process of how their gift cards work and what to do if there are any issues redeeming them. Some other internet sources indicated that their gift cards were hard to redeem, and I was more or less told that the new gift cards they issue have resolved the problem by having the salesperson activate them in the store at checkout.
