While I was contemplating which size Supergoop sunscreen to buy, a lady came up asking if I needed help. I politely said no. She proceeded to bring over a Tatcha product trying to sell it to me. I politely said no and that I was sticking to Supergoop. She proceeded to bring me 2-3 other sunscreens trying to sell to me. I noticed after a few minutes that she did not have a name tag, was not wearing a Sephora shirt, and was attempting to impersonate an employee. I kept trying to get away from the situation. A real employee did come over, but never said anything to the lady. It was extremely weird and made me feel super uncomfortable. I had my baby with me and just wanted to get my products and leave. I don’t know what their employee handbook says for them to do in these situations… but what in the world?! Can’t the store do something if someone is pretending to be an employee!
