We came here for lobe piercings for my 3 month old daughter and were greeted by a very impersonal and condescending Caroline. It was very obvious she wasn’t happy to be serving us and jumped at the chance to help a different customer. Thankfully we were helped by Delaney who did an amazing job. She was confident, friendly, and quickly pierced my daughter’s ears so I could comfort her after. Overall it was a good experience thanks to Delaney’s kind professionalism.

Headline: VERY LATE service (an hour after our appointment time) Lacking in "Bedside manner," Billing mistakes and expectation to tip on cost of service PLUS the retail cost of the earrings (weird) We booked an appointment online for 12:30 at Rowan The Village at Westlake for my daughter's ear piercing. Upon arrival, we were told a nurse had car trouble and wasn't in, but that we'd still be seen. We ended up waiting over an hour past our scheduled time before the piercing happened, which was stressful for a child who was excited and nervous. In addition, there was not enough seating available for the many people who were waiting for their appointments, so it felt awkward and uncomfortable. The nurse who performed the piercing was professional in technique and did a good and thorough job of explaining the procedure to us, but she was not at all apologetic for the significant delay and was not super warm or friendly towards my daughters. She repeatedly emphasized the risk of the earlobe swelling to engulf the earring (or the earlobe "growing around" it), mentioning it multiple times in a way that felt excessive. While it's good to stress aftercare, the heavy repetition on an issue that is not super common seemed to freak my daughter out a bit and added unnecessary stress after the procedure. At checkout, the suggested tip amounts were calculated on the total including the full retail price of the earrings, which felt off—tipping should be on the service fee only, not the jewelry cost. Then, we later got calls from them saying they undercharged us (only billed for one of the earrings due to THEIR ringing error) and asking us to pay the difference. Sad to say I wouldn't recommend this location, even though the vibe is really cute in there.

Carolyn took such amazing care of my Aunt when we walked in today. We didn’t have an appointment but she helped us right away. You can tell she’s very happy doing what she does and is extremely professional and knowledgeable. And super friendly too. 10/10 experience and customer service. Thank you Carolyn!!!!

I had an extremely unprofessional experience with this piercing studio. I scheduled an appointment yesterday for a needle piercing (specifically a conch or tragus). When I arrived for my appointment today, I was told there was no nurse on staff available to perform needle piercings. At no point did anyone contact me to inform me of this. I received no phone call, text, or email — nothing. Instead, I wasted my time showing up to an appointment that they knew could not be fulfilled. Even if the issue came up last minute, a simple phone call would have been the bare minimum courtesy. Staffing issues happen, but failing to notify clients and allowing them to show up for an appointment that cannot be honored is unacceptable and highly unprofessional. I expected better communication and basic respect for my time.

Great experience! Carolyn was so knowledgeable, professional and spent all the time necessary to explain my options.
