Not happy with Deborah. She was clearly not feeling well that day... lots of muttering and complaining that, as a customer, made me feel uncomfortable.

- KKK KApr 25, 20223.0My son & husband, and I, get our haircuts here, since it's very inexpensive. But I need to warn women (& some men?) about the missing components because my latest visit is going to mean a year of SHAGGY HAIR! I came in b/c the last Great Clips haircutter at this site didn't suggest an undercut, which I definitely have, but they don't notice small things at this salon. (Or at least they don't ever mention doing more than exactly what you ask for.) Thus, I had to come back to get the undercut (so my shoulder-length hair wouldn't turn up & out, at the ends). It's now summer in Austin, so my head is getting hot at night with my thick hair. I asked for thinning as well, and I didn't notice (until that night) that she thinned my entire head, so I have short ends poking out EVERYWHERE. Every other person who has thinned my hair (perhaps 30 times over the past 2+ decades) PUTS THE TOP HAIR ON TOP, out of the way, so that it covers all those short, shaggy ends (from the thinning). Women: Please consider going to the Supercuts a block away. Or watch these cutters VERY carefully and anticipate the mistakes they can make. It may cost you a year or more of bad hair if you don't guide them to a proper haircut here. Note: Most stylist at other low-price salons (like Supercuts) wll notice the undercut and ask if I want that. They also ask if I'd like my bangs touched up, etc. But Great Clips cuts are so fast that they don't suggest anything more than you tell them. Be as EXPLICIT as you can, and try to remember all details of your past, proper cuts. Note: there's only 1 stylist at this Great Clips any time you go, b/c they can't find more cutters... It's a tough labor market out there the past 2 years.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
