There was only one stylist present as the other staff member had stepped out to run an errand. The worker, whose name I did not catch, asked me to sit down, but I hesitated because she was in the middle of sweeping up hair. I wanted to be considerate of her space, but she seemed insistent, almost rushed. This was my first red flag. It was clear she was not paying much attention to detail and seem to be in a hurry. She even sprayed water on my hair without warning, which got in my eyes. When I requested a shorter cut on top, she initially ignored my request, claiming she couldn't cut it shorter. However, after I pointed out that about half an inch was hanging over her fingers, she finally agreed to cut it. At that point, I just wanted the ordeal to end. I left feeling that this was the most rushed and lackluster haircut I’ve ever received, and I sensed she was irritated with me for simply asking for what I wanted. Ordinarily, I tip my barbers well, but I felt compelled to leave nothing this time. Paying zero would only be fair. I got home just to see I look like when my sister cut her dolls' hair. I strongly advise others to think twice before visiting this location in Hancock Center. The owner should reconsider hiring individuals who clearly lack the desire to provide quality service. Overall, it was an awful experience.
