I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Great Clips the Lakeline location. I paid $23 for a haircut and left a $5 tip, expecting at the very least a basic, clean result. Instead, I went home to find my head looking completely patchy and uneven. My wife was honestly shocked at how bad it looked.
I showed the stylist a very simple photo of the haircut I wanted a basic military cut: zero on the sides and don’t touch the top. It doesn’t get much simpler than that. Despite this, the execution was terrible. When she used the zero skin shaver, she barely pressed it against the skin. Some areas are shaved high, some low, and some barely touched at all. Both sides of my head, above and behind the ears, were uneven and in certain spots not properly shaved at all. It looks rushed, careless, and completely unprofessional.
On top of that, the stylist (a middle-aged Hispanic lady with no name tag, no visible certification on her mirror) started off overly fake-friendly, asking personal questions that had nothing to do with the haircut. I’m there for a haircut, not an interrogation. If someone cannot perform a basic military cut evenly, why are they being hired? Why am I paying increased prices for results that look worse than a beginner’s attempt?
Haircut prices have gone up significantly, yet the quality has clearly gone down. Customers work hard for their money. There should be pride in doing a job well. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and angry on my weekend — all because of a careless haircut.
If a restaurant completely messed up someone’s simple order, they’d expect it to be fixed. Why should this be any different? I am tired of Great Clips employees acting like their job doesn’t matter, because when that attitude shows in the work, customers end up disrespected.
Very disappointed - Ali

Received an absolutely terrible haircut here, the woman cutting my hair completely ignored the instructions I gave her and trimmed significantly more off than I requested. Not only that but after explaining how I style my hair to her in detail she assumed I wanted it cut into a comb over and cut it like that instead. I am also unsure that she had ever cut hair ever because throughout the entire cut she kept jabbing me with the guard of the clippers aggressively. I wish I could give the name of the woman who cut my hair but I can't because she didn't even have a license on her desk which makes me question if she was even trained to cut hair at all. overall horrible experience and I urge you to get a haircut somewhere else if you are reading this. I would give zero stars if I could.

I came in today to chop off my long hair, and had Maggie as my hairdresser. I have gone places that don’t listen to my requests and just do whatever, but she was so kind and listened to what I told her I wanted! She made sure to ask me questions along the way to ensure I loved it. It came out even better than what I pictured! Thank you Maggie!
