  I have been a Diptyque customer for over a decade, shopping at the Bleecker store, Maiden Lane store and more. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience in the Austin boutique. I bought a couple hand balms around Christmas and one ended up having a defective pump. This has never happened to me before and I have had several. If you’re familiar with the packaging, these tubes cannot be unscrewed or anything in order to see if there is a clog. I ended up having to cut a corner because I was traveling and did not have any other lotion to use. I took the defective tube to the store to see if they would swap it out. The sales associate was flippant and implied that I had used all the hand cream and was trying to just get a new one. I even asked her to look up my purchase history as I have never once returned an item at Diptyque or complained about anything. She humiliated me in that tiny shop as everyone could overhear her comments. Sad about the experience, especially for a hand balm which is probably the least expensive product they carry. I have no reason to try to get a new one to save some money, I simply thought a luxury brand like Diptyque would make a defective packaging issue right for a long time customer, especially when they have given me small tokens like Christmas candles or embroidered patches as a thank you throughout the years. Super disappointing.

  Raina was so helpful and walked me through six scents that I might like and I found the perfect one. I had never been in a perfume store before and she made me feel so ease. I highly recommend visiting this location.

  not my fav diptyque location; they were adequately helpful but honestly not very friendly. also the tiniest location i've seen outside of malls.
