    I visited Sephora on April 11 and had a really disappointing experience. One of the employees (older woman with gray hair) spoke to me in a noticeably rude and dismissive tone. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I’m not sure what the issue was, but I expect better customer service.

    When my friend and I walked in, we didn't get greeted or asked if we were looking for something specific which they usually do, but I brushed it off. I ended up finding this brush but couldn’t find it in the display, so we asked a worker if she could help us find it. She was in the middle of something so she told us she would come back and help us after which is totally understandable. When she came back she checked the display and a drawer under and didn’t find anything, so she told us she would check the stock really quick for it. We were standing there for about 15 minutes wondering where she was, then we saw her walking around doing other things. I know it can be busy but she could’ve just told us they didn’t have anymore instead of having us wait for nothing. She didn’t even come back to us and update if they had any.

    I stopped by a few days ago and had the pleasure of being helped by Crystal. She took her time explaining the products and made sure I found the perfect shade for me, which I really appreciated. Crystal is amazing at what she does—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. You can tell she truly values her customers and goes above and beyond to make sure you leave happy. Highly recommend asking for her!

    I’ve been to many Sephora locations over the years and spend a significant amount with the company, but this is by far the worst location I’ve ever experienced. I called ahead to confirm a product was in stock since this was the only location within about 20 miles that showed availability. Instead of offering to verify, the associate casually said, “Yeah, I’m looking at it right now, there’s plenty.” However, after visiting the store, I can confidently say there is no way from where the phone was answered to where the product was located that anyone could have actually confirmed that in real time. When I arrived after driving 20 minutes out of my way, there was only one left. Had someone purchased it before I got there, this would have been a complete waste of time. Unfortunately, the in-store experience was equally unacceptable. When I walked in, I asked an associate, a heavyset Caucasian woman with a short bob, where the product was located. She was leaning and texting on her phone and continued doing so while I was speaking to her. She briefly looked up, gave a dismissive response of “skincare is over there,” without pointing or offering any assistance, and immediately went back to her phone. This level of disengagement and lack of professionalism is not acceptable in a customer-facing role. To add to the experience, the cashier at checkout also displayed a noticeable attitude. I work in the corporate beauty and fashion industry and regularly interact with major brands, so I fully understand the standards expected in retail environments like this. The service at this location falls significantly below those standards and does not reflect what Sephora as a company represents. This location needs to be addressed. The lack of basic customer service, accountability, and professionalism is clear, and it reflects a broader issue with management and staff expectations. I will not be returning to this location.

    Terrible experience. 1st timer .. Allen outlet mall . 5 mins after I walked in I was helped and found the product I came for. After that , i decided yo look around maybe I would find some extras While looking around , The same rep walked over to me over 10 times asking me if I needed help to let her know .. on the 5th ask I told her if I need anything I will let you know . She still asked me 5 more times, Hovered over me the entire experience. Then once she took a break an another lady came and asked .the exact same question . It’s Nothing wrong with asking if I am finding everything I need but once I tell you I’m ok several times why why why are you still hovering, asking and watching me . It felt weird and very uncomfortable. My husband was with me he felt weirded out as well Yes I am African American and took my time looking for new products Until I was rushed out by the repeated questioning and the shadowing . After I left I called back to complain, the that lady answered said she was the manger but refused to give her name (weird) She was shockingly rude as well, talking over me . Telling ME it must have been. A miscommunication instead of apologizing for the behavior that cause my feeling. Saying miscommunication does not change my perspective. Moving forward Sephora Please don’t make your Brown customers feel like we can’t look with out stealing . So sad !!! Be ware .. go to another store
